Manisha Antony, DOHi Dr. Araujo, in this article we focused solely on patients who are ANA-positive with CAD to investigate the similarities and potential confounding variables they share. This was done to identify asymptomatic patients with positive ANA that are at risk of developing CAD in the future, as CAD has a high comorbidity. However, these patients were not compared to the general population (without CAD), so the findings are specific to this cohort rather than being generalized.
