Gabapentin is a drug used to treat epilepsy; it is also used to treat neuropathic pain, and anxiety disorder, including diabetic polyneuropathy and post-herpetic neuralgia. It is used as the sole drug in the diseases mentioned or as a component of combined treatment depending on the disease type.
