Paul Kim, DPM, MS, board-certified podiatric surgeon with a specialized focus in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, is primarily located at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Kim works with patients of all ages, often dealing with conditions such as chronic infections and diabetic wounds.

Dr. Kim focuses on a team approach to care, developing long-term relationships with patients and their families. His personal interest in the latest technology is also evident in his approach to care. He combines expertise and current research with a willingness to use leading-edge innovations to help patients reach and maintain their functional goals.

As the Director of Research for the Department of Plastic Surgery’s Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine, Dr. Kim is an active contributor to research in his field. He has published and presented extensively and has contributed to numerous educational articles and novels. Dr. Kim also has a master's degree in clinical research management.

In addition to caring for patients and research, Dr. Kim is also an associate professor of plastic surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
