I have specialist interest in COPD, Lung cancer, Asthma, Chronic cough, NIV, pleura effusion and medical thoracoscopy, interventional bronchoscopy EBUS -TBNA lymph node biopsy.
Trained in the Oxford region and the South West rotation CCST in 2005. Gained experience at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London in interventional bronchoscopy in 2004 (OPE). Completed a fellowship in Lille, France for interventional bronchoscopy and medical thoracoscopy in 2005. Worked as a locum chest consultant at the Royal London and the London Chest Hospital from 2005 to 2006 and have been the consultant general and respiratory physician in Maidstone Hospital since 2006. In 2008, completed the fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and American College of Chest Physicians.

Interest in education, as Training Programme Director in Respiratory Medicine in KSS Deanery (2013-2017) and course director for a range of courses from EBUS, Interventional and bronchoscopy and thoracic ultrasound run by the Maidstone Academic Centre.
Currently an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College, London. Published numerous papers in peer-reviewed international journals on asthma, COPD, interventional bronchoscopy, EBUS, and endobronchial stenting, ventilator associated pneumonia and COVID19.
Trust Lead for Innovations and EBUS service developed the EBUS services for the MTW Trust to improve waiting time for Lung cancer Diagnosis and Staging, ran EBUS and Thoracic Ultrasound course from academic centre last 8 years.
