I am a Doctor of Medical Science with a sub-specialty in medical education. I am a NCCPA certified physician assistant with three years of clinical medicine experience as a physician assistant in internal medicine and emergency medicine. Two years of experience as a graduate assistant for gross, micro, and neurological anatomy at Barry University’s College of Podiatric Medicine. Three years’ experience as a clinical preceptor and educator for University of Florida physician assistant students. Two years’ experience as a professor of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and medicine. Three years of military experience in a medical battalion. I have now been running my own higher education consulting firm for the past 6 months.
Knowledge and proficiency in all Microsoft office software and multiple electronic medical recording programs. Extensive knowledge of medicine, human anatomy and dissection, as well as physiological/pathophysiological functions. I have 42 graduate credits of anatomy and over 30 graduate credits of physiology/pharmacology. I have helped manage 180 fulltime students with only 3 full-time faculty. I have developed OSCEs and simulations, as well as served as the director of simulation at Nova Southeastern University. I have given hundreds of hours’ worth of lectures and have lectured at a conference.
