β’ Dr. Interns Chief Operations Officer β Surat, India (March 2016-Jan 2018) β Dr. Interns was a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that sponsored medical immersion trips to the state of Gujarat, India. It was an opportunity for students to explore a vastly different healthcare system and to learn about the barriers to care in very remote regions of an underserved area. I oversaw all logistics for the medical immersion program, including recruitment and interviewing of candidates, and led the month-long excursion for twenty college students in India each summer.
