About
I am currently a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellow at the
University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. I graduated medical school from
University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India and completed my
Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in New York. I plan to pursue an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh for the
academic year of 2024-25. I am passionate about mentorship and medical education and
participated extensively in various forms of mentorship initiatives from my medical school to
my fellowship. I continue to serve on national and regional committees with the American
College of Gastroenterology (ACG) in the Training subcommittee and Texas Society of
Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (TSGE) in the Communications subcommittee. I have
published various research initiatives throughout my training and continue to be involved
in cutting-edge internal medicine, and gastroenterology research, with a specific interest in pancreaticobiliary pathology.
