We’d like to thank all of the authors who participated in our retrospective on Covid-19.

The objective of this call for submissions was to focus on what the world of medicine and public health got right in its approach to this pandemic, but even more so, where did we all go wrong and why? The hope is that a scholarly post-mortem now can inform better decision making today, while also perhaps improving hospital care and public health measures in future pandemics.
