LSUHS family medicine residency in Alexandria is an unopposed, ACGME-accredited program with an emphasis on full-spectrum primary care. Our residents gain proficiency in managing patients of all ages and across all settings. From the newborn nursery to the intensive care unit, our physicians are trained to confidently care for all patients and are ready to address the health needs of our underserved communities.
