Clinician and researcher with a special interest in oral cancer, tobacco control, and the study of odontogenic tumors. I have worked in teaching, research, and hospital clinical services in oral medicine, as well as in the histopathological diagnosis of lesions in the oral and maxillofacial region.
I practice exclusively in oral medicine and oral and maxillofacial pathology. I specialize in the use of lasers in the field of dentistry.
I have received a Master's degree in Bioethics and a Diploma in Biostatistics. During my doctoral studies, I trained in IHC techniques, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, Western and Southern blotting, polymerase chain reaction, and numerous aspects of cell culture (keratinocyte migration and invasion, T cell proliferation, and gene cloning).
