Dr. Mitchell-Williams is the Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU). She oversees the medical education program at CMSRU, including curricular development, simulation center activities, library services, and student/faculty assessment. During her tenure at CMSRU, she has led efforts to improve the health outreach for disadvantaged communities, through the creation of a pipeline to medical professions, diversity and anti-racism training, and community service programs. Her research interests are: health disparities, diversity/equity/inclusion, cultural competency/humility, DEI in medical education, and maternal health equity.
