About

Dr. Lim received his medical degree from Osaka University in Japan. Osaka University has consistently ranked as a member of the highly coveted 1% of the world's best universities according to the QS World University Rankings. Osaka University is well known for its cutting-edge biomedical research. He completed his internship in Japan and holds a Japanese medical license. After internship in Japan, he completed Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He is American Board of Internal Medicine Certified.

He completed his rheumatology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was also a research fellow at Harvard Medical School. His research interests include epidemiology and meta-analyses in areas of gout, inflammatory arthritis and osteoporosis. He has written articles on these topics in several highly respected medical journals including the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA), current opinions in rheumatology and rheumatology.

He is a Clinical Certified Densitometrist, certified by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. He also received further training in musculoskeletal ultrasound at the North American Musculoskeletal Ultrasound School for Rheumatologists. He is RhMSUS certified by the American College of Rheumatology.
