Dr. Stephen Glombicki is the incoming motility fellow at Temple University.

His professional interests include gastroenterology and leadership in medicine. He's eager for research opportunities and initiatives to teach medical students. He hopes to study more about how to best serve the community with cost-effective delivery of care.

He's conducted research with the MD Anderson Department of Gastroenterology Hepatology, & Nutrition. Presented a poster and helped publish both a manuscript on "Physical activity and the risk of colorectal cancer in Lynch syndrome" and an abstract on the "Influence of age, sex, colorectal cancer status, and mutation carrier status on physical activity in families with Lynch syndrome."

He helped start up a neuroscience lab at Texas A&M: The Neurobiological lab for Studies in Human Learning and Development. Studied self-control in overeating adolescents by testing an addiction and impulsivity model. Also investigated the effect of anxiety and sleep deprivation on various physiologic parameters.

He's worked with Texas A&M's DeBakey Undergraduate Research Program to study pulmonary edema. Designed a 3D printed aorta for implementation in an in vitro mock human circulatory loop.
