Dr Hesham Salah Eldin is a Professor of Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University and the Cathlab Director of New Kasr Alaini Teaching Hospital. He is the President of the Working Group of Dyslipidemia & Atherosclerosis of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology & the founder of the Egyptian CPR League.

He is a Fellow Of American College Of Cardiology, Fellow Of American College Of Chest Physicians, Fellow Of The Society For Cardiovascular Angiography And Interventions, Member Of The European Society Of Cardiology, Member Of The European Association Of PCI (EAPCI), Member Of The Egyptian Society Of Cardiology, Member Of The Egyptian Society Of Hypertension, & Member Of The Egyptian Cardiac Intervention Group.

He received training in vascular ultrasound in USA in 1993, in CT coronary angiography in UK in 2007, & in coronary intervention in Germany. He gave many presentations in national & international conferences & organized and chaired many cardiovascular conferences & workshops.

He has many publications in different Journals mainly on atherosclerosis related topics & cardiac interventions, & is currently an executive editor Of the Heart Mirror Journal. He participated as an investigator in international multicenter studies, & received 2 awards for best interventional case presentations.
He has been included in Who’s Who in the World.
