Dr Asif Zafar graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore. He completed his surgical training at Mayo Hospital, Lahore and United Kingdom. He is a surgeon by profession; but passionate about the use of technology for solving problems in his field. Set up MIS Virtual Training Lab in Holy family hospital, where 200 surgeons were trained in Laparoscopic Surgery. His most recently completed project a collaboration between Holy Family Hospital and National University of Sciences and Technology titled "Development of a Tele-Surgical Training System and Simulator”
