I work as a Professor in the College of Allopathic Medicine at NSU, teaching courses in microbiology and immunology to a variety of medical and allied health professions students. In addition, I am the Director for NSU's Master of Science in Disaster and Emergency Management. Within this degree program I teach courses in weapons of mass threat, communicable diseases, and agroterrorism to students in the MS DEM program as well as the Public Health, Criminal Justice, National Security Affairs, and Public Administration programs. My specialty is in the area of medical readiness and preparedness for CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive) events.
