About

I am an algerian cardiologist, holding the rank of class A associate professor and serving as the current head of the non-invasive cardiology Eexplorations unit at Mustapha Bacha University Hospital in Algiers. My career is dedicated to cardiology, with specialized expertise in cardiovascular imaging and rhythmology.
Beyond my clinical work, I am a dedicated academic. I lead a research team at the laboratory for arterial wall and hypertension research. This team focuses on advanced areas like multimodal imaging and artificial intelligence.
My scientific work centers on applying advanced technologies, such as speckle tracking, for the diagnosis and monitoring of heart conditions. My doctoral thesis specifically focused on evaluating right ventricular function using the 2D-strain technique.
My publications explore a variety of key areas: cardiac imaging, hypertension and risk factors, cardiovascular health and new technologies, and rhythmology
I am an active member of the scientific community, serving on the review boards of several journals and contributing to international clinical trials such as the ESC HF III registry.
