I am writing to express my interest in joining Cureus as a peer reviewer. I am a pulmonologist with a subspecialty in sleep medicine and respiratory disorders. My doctoral thesis focused on respiratory insufficiency in neuromuscular diseases—a topic on which I also presented original research at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress, for which I was honored to receive a scholarship grant from the ERS.
Currently, I serve as the head of a clinical unit and am an active member of the National Committee on Neuromuscular Diseases in my country. My primary areas of academic and clinical interest include rare respiratory diseases, neuromuscular disorders, tuberculosis, and emerging respiratory infections.

I am deeply committed to advancing clinical research and evidence-based practice, and I would be honored to contribute to the scientific rigor and quality of publications in Cureus through the peer review process.
