About

I am a cardiovascular surgeon specializing in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS) and thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR). My research focuses on developing novel surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes, including the refinement of totally endoscopic aortic valve replacement (TE-AVR) and the β€œZone 2.5” TEVAR approach for type B aortic dissection. I have published clinical studies and case reports on valve surgery, endovascular therapy, and surgical innovation, with the aim of advancing less invasive and more durable strategies in cardiovascular surgery. Currently, I work at Hokkaido Prefectural Kitami Hospital and collaborate with Sapporo Medical University, where I am involved in both clinical practice and academic research.
