We know that it can be frustrating when you've finished your revisions only to have another peer review submitted causing you to go back and revise again. This way, you can prevent most additional reviews from being submitted. (Reviews that were started in the prior 48 hours will be given up to 24 hours to finish and submit, but you don't have to wait for them.)

In addition, if your article has received at least two author-invited reviews and you're waiting on a Cureus-invited review, you now have the option to end the review period for all author-invited reviews to ensure you don't continue to receive reviews that don't help your article satisfy review requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
We're trying something new this month and hopefully it's helpful to some of you! Here are some of the most common questions (and answers) we've received over the past month:

• I forgot to add an author. Now what? If you have already submitted your article it is too late to add another author. Your best option is to delete the submission before it has undergone our preliminary review and start over. It's very important that all authors are included in the initial submission!
   
• When can I edit my article during peer review? We will email you as soon as your article has satisfied our peer review requirements and is unlocked for editing. Your article status will change to 'Reviews Complete' when your article has been unlocked for revision.
   
• When will my article be published? When you submit your article for publication, it must undergo final editor approval as well as copy editing. You can follow your article's progress by clicking on the Editor Approval button on your dashboard to view updates.
   
• When will my article appear in PubMed Central? Articles published in Cureus will appear in PubMed Central approximately six weeks after publication. Can't wait? Purchase our expedited PMC indexing service from your dashboard and we'll bypass this embargo and submit your article immediately. (Indexing occurs 2-14 days after submission to PMC.)
