Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College
The mission of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) is to deliver comprehensive healthcare to the rural population of the Wardha district of central India through available, accessible, safe and effective medical services. The professionals working in the department are competent, compassionate, and practice evidence based medicine.
We have state-of-the-art facilities in the form of a well-equipped 30-bed critical and intensive care unit, a 16-bed high dependency unit, comprehensive palliative and geriatric care, a 16-bed dialysis unit, and are associated with speciality services like cardiology, nephrology, neurology, gastroenterology, and oncology. The department provides a platform for innovative research and development in healthcare. It provides health services collaborating with local, regional and national communities. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College has had more than 1000 articles indexed in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science in the last five years.
