A Case of Pediatric Sternocostoclavicular Hyperostosis Syndrome

Abstract

Sternocostoclavicular hyperostosis syndrome (SCCH) is a rare and benign occurrence of sclerotic and periosteal alterations to the clavicle. Here we present a pediatric patient with clinical and radiological diagnosis of sternocostoclavicular hyperostosis syndrome that was previously undiagnosed for several previous occurrences. Treatment was supportive including anti-inflammatory medication and bed rest.
